Dr. Gao is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic committed to helping his patients recover from pain and injuries.

He graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (Southern California University of Health Sciences) in 2003. Since then, Dr. Gao has practised all over the continent; has based in cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Toronto.

In 2012, he established his own practice to serve the people of GTA. He learnt about the busy and versatile lifestyle of a typical Torontonian, in work and leisure, and the common injuries as a result. Dr. Gao translates these symptoms into treatments that demonstrate a results-driven approach, executed through his caring attitude and diligent work ethics.
His reputation has quickly self-perpetuated through word of mouth - and is now well-known as the go-to rehab specialist in many local communities.

Having played in sports leagues in his schooling years, Dr. Gao understood the importance of a healthy body, and developed an interest in the healthcare field. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Science at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Gao pursued the study of Chiropractic -- specializing in the Gonstead technique which is based on scientific research and biomechanics of the body. He is also certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia and had worked closely with orthopedic surgeons and anesthesiologists in the Unites States.

Through his many years of experience treating patients with diverse symptoms and backgrounds, Dr. Gao has become an expert in customizing treatment plans unique to each patient. At Gao Rehab & Wellness, patients will receive therapeutic benefits from a combination of treatments including chiropractic adjustments, deep tissue work, electrical stimulation, corrective exercise, massage therapy, and acupuncture. Dr. Gao is also knowledgeable in treating car accident patients experiencing symptoms such as whiplash.

When asked about his vision, Dr. Gao said “There is no better feeling than seeing patients walk out of my office with a big smile on their faces.” “I take pride in making a positive impact on their lives, and that is what I ultimately aim to do.”
